Q: What ages or grades is this camp for?

A: Glow and Grow Literacy Camp is designed for students entering grades 3 through 8 who are struggling with reading, spelling, handwriting, or writing skills. We group students by age and ability to ensure instruction is targeted and effective.

Q: Does my child need to attend all 4 weeks?

A: Yes. This is a structured, skill-building camp and a 4-week commitment is required. Even if your child misses a day or two, full payment is still required to hold their spot and ensure staffing and materials are covered.

Q: What’s included in the tuition?

A: Your child will receive:

Q: Is the $50 enrollment fee refundable?

A: No. The $50 enrollment fee is non-refundable and required to reserve your child’s spot. It also covers all instructional materials and supplies for the full camp.

Q: When and how do I pay the tuition?

A: After you register and pay the $50 registration fee, you’ll receive an email with your tuition invoice. If you select the Early Bird Rate ($1,400), full payment is due by April 30 to lock in the discount. Standard tuition is $400/week ($1600 total) and must be paid in full the Friday prior to the start of camp. NOTE: If you have financial circumstances, please let us know and we may be able to accept a weekly payment plan.

Q: What happens after camp? Is there continued support available?

A: Yes! Camp families receive access to our school-year tutoring program, along with a $50 discount toward Fall Tutoring Registration Fees. We're here for the long haul—Glow and Grow is just the beginning.

We’re Amy Wall and Samantha Thomas—two moms, educators, and advocates who are deeply committed to helping children unlock the power of reading and writing. We believe literacy is not just a school skill—it’s a lifelong foundation for confidence, communication, and learning.

Between the two of us, we’ve spent decades working in classrooms, therapy rooms, and family living rooms—helping students with learning differences overcome obstacles and find their voice through structured, research-based literacy instruction.

Amy, our Director of Literacy Instruction & Support, specializes in systematic, multisensory reading instruction using the Orton-Gillingham methodology. She’s passionate about helping kids who’ve fallen through the cracks finally catch up—and shine.

Samantha, our Director of Language and Literacy Resources, brings her expertise as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist to the camp. She focuses on building language comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar in to support diverse learners and struggling writers.

Together, we started Glow and Grow Literacy Camp to create a warm, structured, and effective space where students can build the tools they need to thrive—not just for school, but for life.
